Back To Windows

Well for about 2 weeks I’ve been running different distros of linux because:

• My Windows XP Home Edition SP2 install was pretty much destroyed
• I was growing tired of Microsuck
• I wanted a reason to test out the BackTrack 2 OS
• Because I can

After all that though, I found myself downloading the Windows XP Professional SP2 CD ( I have a valid CD-key just not the CD) and installing Windows all over again. The major reason why I came back…. no Windows support. Now many would tell me to simply use a virtual Windows XP install, I did that for a while… I only have 512mb RAM so emulation was slow and only really 256mb of RAM on the Guest OS which means online gaming was out of the question.
ReactOS seemed quite promising actually and I might test it out. Open-Source AND Windows support, now THAT is an Operating System for me. I’ll be writing a review about it later on whenever I get the time and pretty much feel like it. Hopefully I become a faithful ReactOS user.
My question for my readers (however limited you guys/girls are) is: Would you ever try another OS besides Windows, and if so which OS would it be and why?
